Wow, so clearly America kicks ass in the pool… Katie Ledecky, Simone Manuel, Ryan Lochte, and of course, the Veteran golden boy Michael Phelps all brought home some gold from Rio!
So you might not be swimming on the Olympic level but we are sure you have been in and out of the pool a few times this summer and that chlorine can reek havoc on your hair! Chlorine can dry out your hair making it susceptible to breakage and if you are blonde it can even give your hair a lime green tint.
We have some solutions to your hair needs… First is an at home option:
Apple Cider Vinegar
Mix 2 cups apple cider vinegar with some essentials oils and 1 cup of water. Store the mixture in a glass jar for 2 days. Shower and rise your hair with the vinegar mixture after you shampoo.
The vinegar will help get rid of any chemical build up from the pool!
If you have green hair you might have been told tomato juice helps… but man, is that messy!!! Instead mix vinegar, white or apple cider, with some baking soda in large bowl and soak you hair in it. That help restore your hair to it’s natural shade.
If your hair is still dry try some EVO Great Hydrator! That will defiantly help get your hair back to being silky smooth! Or try the SU line by Davines. It can help protect your hair before and after sun exposure!
